We have invited Alberta School Councils' Association (ASCA) to work through a strategic planning process with our membership. Our Annual General Meeting will follow (details below). Notice of Annual General Meeting The Calgary Association of Parents and School Councils will be holding its Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, February 22 at 8:00 pm following its regular meeting. This meeting will be held in the Library at AE Cross School located at 3445 37th Street SW. Members in good standing as of January 31, 2012 are eligible to vote. DON'T MISS YOUR CHANCE.... The Alberta School Councils Association (ASCA) is a province-wide group providing support for parent involvement in public education. Visit the Alberta Teachers Association website. The website provides a wealth of information regarding the teachers of Alberta, as well as issues facing our students. Their Stop the Cuts web page offers current information on the budget shortfalls, and what you can do to help make a difference. Canadian Parents for French is a group working to keep French as an integral part of Canada and young Canadians. Visit their website for more information. bullying.org provides a wealth of resources for parents, students and teachers.
